Millesgården

My favorite garden in Stockholm is Millesgården. Carl Milles made his famous sculptors back in the early 1900s. He traveled all over to find inspiration and tried to bring it back into his home and garden. His large garden has his sculptors dotted all over, along with lemon trees and lavender. It also has Italianesque topiaries and large steps leading upward. It is a stunning place and the views are incredible. When we visited a year ago and saw all the colorful flowers blooming, we felt the magic, and it didn't go away during this winter chill either. It is highly recommended to visit the gallery, his studios with its antiques, and the beautiful grounds when visiting Stockholm.
